DIESEL GAS

Reduce fuel costs by up to 20%, reduce exhaust emissions, black plume and engine oil contamination. Gain power and torque in your Diesel 4WD commercial vehicle or light truck by having a Diesel/Gas Australia LPG GENIV - vapour injection system fitted by United Fuel Injection.

Most diesel engines have a combustion efficiency of only 75-85% with the remainder of the diesel being burnt in the exhaust system or blown out as black smoke. Black smoke is unburnt diesel, indicating that your engine is not performing as it should.

With the injection system

The Diesel/Gas Australia LPG GENIV - vapour injection system is easily installed. Not only will you notice increased power and torque and less gear changes immediately, higher average speeds are maintained, all without extra stress on the engine. More benefits include:

United Fuel Injection's testing procedure provides you with:

  • Increased power and torque

  • Improved driveability of your vehicle

  • Better economy

  • Quieter, smoother and cleaner running

  • Dangerous exhaust gases NO3 and CO2 are significantly reduced

  • Your engine oil stays cleaner for longer

  • Less carbon contamination extends engine life

How the injection system works

The injection system allows a small amount of LPG to be injected into the engine via the air intake system, improving the combustion process, ensuring that most of the diesel injected is burnt.

The system is computer controlled using sensors to determine engine load and speed. The amount of gas introduced can be programmed for more power, or greater economy, or anything in between.

At United Fuel Injection, we ensure that the LPG tank is installed in your vehicle in accordance with Australian Standards ASNZ1425.

A gas switch/gauge module is mounted under the dash. The system itself is non-invasive, requiring no engine modification and can be removed and fitted to another vehicle.

The diesel injection system is not detuned - if you run out of gas, you can still drive on diesel (although you will notice a definite decrease in performance).

Will the injection system fit your vehicle?

If your vehicle runs on diesel, the system can be fitted. Turbocharged or naturally aspirated, mechanical or electronic injection will suit this system.
